This seminar is suitable for middle and high school students and their parents. Please come and learn even if you are just curious what your doctor neighbors do at work.
We are honored to have the following 4 doctors as presenters:
-Dr. Tiegang Ding(Md and Ph.D)
1983 graduated from Xian medical University in China,
1993 obtained Ph.D of molecular biology and cell biology in Shanghai first medical college/Yale University.
2002 finished residency at Nassau university medical center in New York and body imaging fellowship in Mount Sinai medical center NY. Currently, board certified diagnostic radiologist at Steward medical group at St ann hospital and GoodSamaritan hospital. Daily practice including diagnostic and interventional procedure of Ct, MRI, breast imaging, Nuclear medicine and ultrasound.
-Dr. Danru Lee
Dr. Danru Lee is a graduate from Jilin Medical College in China. She then received PhD in neuroscience at University of Rochester in 1990 and subsequently finished postdoctoral training in neurobiology of Boston University. She completed internal medicine residency in Boston medical center of Boston University and fellowship in integrative medicine in University of Arizona. She practiced internal medicine in Boston Medical Center from 1998 to 2006, and she has since joined the practice as a primary care physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Health Care in Sharon.
-Dr. Li Arango
Dr. Li Arango is from Tianjin, China and graduated from the Dental School of Tianjin University. She then joined the Oral and Maxillofacial residency program at the Dental Hospital of Tianjin University. After her residency program she moved to Texas where she obtained a masters degree in at University of Texas, Graduate School of Biomedical Science in Houston. After earning her masters degree she was accepted to Tufts University School of Dentistry in Boston from where she graduated in 2002.
-Dr. Chao Yang
Dr. Yang is a Medical Safety Officer of DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson company. He leads medical safety evaluations for JnJ’s spine and sports products, provides medical expertise in new product development, risk management, post market surveillance and clinical safety. Dr. Yang graduated from Tianjin Medical University and is a spine surgeon by training with more than 10-year surgical experience. He started his career in the US with a research fellow position in orthopedic department at Mayo Clinic. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, he was clinical study manager in Medtronic and Medial Director in Kimberly Clark Medical Device.
